Four routes, four inboxes, and a named person at the end of each one. Tell us which you need and we will get you to the right desk.

How can we help?

Selecting a card also pre-fills the enquiry type on the form below.

Working to a deadline? Say so in your subject line and we will prioritise it.

Message received.

Thank you — we have sent a copy to the email address you gave us. Based on what you have told us, this has gone to the right desk. If it is urgent, email us directly at info@nifian.org.

Only if you would rather we called.

Before you write

What we can and cannot help with

Telling you quickly is more useful than a slow non-answer.

We can help with

  • Industry data, statistics and our fact sheet
  • Media interviews and comment on non-interest finance in Nigeria
  • Membership eligibility, categories and applications
  • Speaking requests and conference participation
  • Research collaboration and academic partnership
  • Regulatory and policy engagement

We cannot help with

  • Opening or managing an account at a member institution
  • Complaints about a member's product, service or charges
  • Investment, tax or financial advice of any kind
  • Shariah rulings or fatwas on a specific transaction
  • Employment applications to member institutions
  • Confirming whether a specific product is Shariah-compliant

Where to take a complaint

  • A bank: raise it with the institution first, then the Central Bank of Nigeria's Consumer Protection Department.
  • Insurance or takaful: the operator, then NAICOM's Complaints Bureau.
  • Capital markets: the fund manager, then the SEC's Complaints Management Framework.
  • A failed bank: the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.

NIFIAN has no power to intervene in an individual case.

Build note: replace this image with a click-to-load map once the address is confirmed. An eagerly loaded Maps embed is typically the heaviest single asset on a contact page.

Partnerships

Working with NIFIAN

NIFIAN partners with organisations that share an interest in a functioning, well-understood non-interest finance market in Nigeria.

What we will need from you: a clear note of what you are proposing, who is involved, and what you would want from NIFIAN specifically. Proposals that arrive without those three things take much longer to answer.

FAQ

Common questions

Email the NIFIAN Secretariat at info@nifian.org for general enquiries, media@nifian.org for press and interview requests, membership@nifian.org for membership, or partnerships@nifian.org for partnership and speaking proposals. You can also use the contact form on this page, which routes your message automatically.

General enquiries receive a response within two working days, membership enquiries within three, and partnership proposals within five. Media enquiries working to a same-day deadline are prioritised — say so in your subject line. Confirm all four

No. NIFIAN is an industry association and has no role in individual customer relationships. Contact your institution directly, and if the issue is unresolved, escalate to the Central Bank of Nigeria's Consumer Protection Department for a bank, NAICOM for a takaful operator, or the Securities and Exchange Commission for a capital market matter.

No. NIFIAN does not provide investment, tax or financial advice, and does not confirm whether an individual product or transaction is Shariah-compliant. Those questions belong with a licensed institution and its Advisory Committee of Experts.

Email media@nifian.org with your outlet, your deadline and the subject you are covering. The Secretariat can provide industry data, arrange comment from the Executive Committee, and point you to the relevant member institution where a question is institution-specific.

Yes, subject to availability. Email partnerships@nifian.org with the event date, format, audience, theme and what you would want the speaker to address. Give as much notice as you can — Executive Committee members are serving chief executives.

If your institution is licensed to offer non-interest financial services in Nigeria, the membership application is a better use of ten minutes than a contact form.
